Through effective advocacy in the public policy arena, Audubon has over a century of breakthrough conservation achievements. We work to construct coalitions of citizens around Missouri’s most pressing issues to increase awareness and advance sound energy and conservation policies that work for both people and wildlife.

Audubon Missouri’s local and National policy staff, volunteers, and chapter leaders participate in a broad range of activities to heighten public awareness on these issues. We meet with legislators and decision makers, editorial boards, take part in community forums, and work with a partnership of environmental groups to generate common sense solutions.
